  • Cycle Storage available

  • Deposit is now £150 not £250

  • No Short Term rents (unless over summer)

  • Bedding/Cutlery request pack – We do not do this

  • Cleaning of student communal kitchens. We provide a complimentary cleaning service carried out once per week on a floor by floor basis

  • For 2023/24 bookings, will I get a refund in the event the COVID-19 situation affects my course?

    At ViBe Student Living, we fully understand that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, times are challenging, and we recognise there is a lot of uncertainty for students. We are committed to being as flexible as possible. We have developed a COVID-19 refund policy which will protect you in case COVID-19 results in

    (i) University courses being cancelled or changed before your arrival
    (ii) Pre-Arrival International Travel Restrictions
    (iii) Visa issues for foreign students.

  • What’s included in my room?

  • What’s included in my rent?

    Everything! Electricity, gas, water, council tax, internet & WIFI, contents insurance, gym access and Smart LCD monitor/screen.

  • How much is my deposit and when is it payable?

    When you book a room with our partners CRM Students, you’ll need to pay a £150 non-refundable booking fee to secure your room. Once your tenancy begins, this booking fee becomes a refundable deposit which is held in the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. The full deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your tenancy, providing that you have no outstanding rent arrears and that there is no damage to your room and/or communal areas.

  • How do I book a room?

  • Can I view the room before booking?

    Of course. To arrange a viewing in person, please contact our partners CRM Students or click here.

  • What’s the difference between studio rooms and en-suite flats?

    A studio is a self-contained room with an en-suite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen area within the room. The en-suite flat is a bedroom with an en-suite. You will have a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge but this will be shared with 5 to 9 other students all with their own en-suite flats. The en-suite flat living experience is great if you like a more communal atmosphere with other people, while having your own private space too. Rents are more competitive than studio rooms.   • Do I need to bring my own furniture?

    No, all ViBe’s rooms have high spec furniture including bed, desk, dining table, chairs, wardrobe and lots of storage.

  • Is bedding included?

    Bedding is not provided, but our friendly staff are available to help assist you to find bedding if required. Please contact ViBe for further information.

  • Is cutlery included?

    Cutlery is not provided, but our friendly staff are available to help assist you to find cutlery if required. Please contact ViBe for further information.

  • Is cleaning provided?

    All communal areas are cleaned on a regular basis. You can request a room cleaning service at an additional cost, please contact ViBe for further information.

  • Is there security in the building?

    You’re very secure at ViBe! CCTV monitors the building, there’s key fobbed access for the entrance and community areas, and staff are on the premises 24 hours a day monitoring security.

  • Do you provide bikes?

    We do not provide bikes.

  • Is there a gym?

    Yes, it includes free weights, machine weights and cardio equipment. It’s free to use and only available to ViBe residents.

  • How do I wash my clothes?

    There’s a fully equipped laundry at ViBe, with several washers and dryers.

  • What other communal facilities do you have?

    There are quite a few! Including:

    Cinema : come and watch your favourite movies in the in-house cinema complete with large screen, cinema seating and awesome surround sound. Ideal for movie nights with your friends.

    Games Space : Hang out in the Games area and play your favourite games from pool to table tennis to fuse ball.

    Kitchen / Dining Function Room : large fully equipped kitchen / dining function room available for hire for dinner parties.

    Landscaped Garden : A secure, private space where you can relax in the open air at any time of year.

  • Are there any quiet rooms or study areas?

    There are 7 study pods - one on each floor - and quiet areas where you can study alone or work in groups

  • How far am I from the university?

    It’s less than 15 minutes’ walk to the main Penrhyn Road campus and a 15 minute bus ride to the Kingston Hill campus. There’s a free bus service 5 minutes’ walk from ViBe at Fairfield South bus stop, where you can catch regular buses which circulate around all the Kingston University campuses.

  • How far am I from the station?

    It’s a 7 minute walk to Norbiton station, and the main Kingston station is only 15 minutes away on foot, with frequent trains getting in to central London in less than 30 minutes.

  • How far am I from the town centre?

    All the bars, shops, restaurants and other attractions of Kingston are about 10 minutes’ walk away.
